I have been priveledged enough to join a sewing challenge over at Richochet and Away called Fab Folds. I feel so honored to be sewing along with so many talented ladies. The challenge is about learning new techniques and I was so excited I got to work right away. I chose to try pin tucks first. A nice little pin tuck travel clutch. Sweet and simple. I am now in love pintucks! The tutorial for this clutch can be found HERE.
We will be taking a trip next month and when I travel, I hate taking my big bulky wallet. Traveling with a baby has taught me to only carry the essentials... ID, credit card, cash, and passports, all in one place. Carrying the big bulky wallet that doesn't hold my wallet is just a waste of space. Sooooo this clutch is perfect. You unsnap...
Unroll... and TADA a place to hold all the essentials.
It isn't perfect but not too shabby for a first pancake flop. I had a hard time figuring out how to write a tutorial for this so I am going to come up with a much simpler version along with how to pintuck.
